It’s been the coldest, snowiest and iciest week of our North Carolina winter…
but we are dreaming of our new cherry tree!
Should it be the Kwanzan:
or the Yoshino?
They are similar in growth habit; one has pinker flowers, one whiter; one has an almond scent in early spring; both are fairly disease resistant; both are fairly fast growers.
We NEED this tree to shade our front door area from the hot hot hot Western sun, so the sooner we get it planted the better.
