You know I love tea: strong, black tea. I never drink coffee…and tea is my drink of choice.
So, of course, I’m always on the lookout for new brands, new mail order companies and once in a while a change from my favorite, Assam tea. Many months ago
when we were visiting Savannah, Georgia, I discovered a great new way to “brew” an individual cup of tea:
The Ingenious Teapot from ingenuiTEA
I can’t believe I made this video almost ten months ago and forgot to post it!
Better late than never…So take a look:
Here it is, sitting on my counter:

This, from the Adagio Teas website, describes the teapot.
It is a cool invention. I’ve had mine for over a year and while I don’t use it all the time, it has held up perfectly.
I’ve also tried several of the loose teas sold by Adagio, and recommend the Assam Harmony for black tea lovers. It really does have a malty taste and is perfect if you also like sugar and cream!
What do you think? Are you a tea drinker? Would you buy this?
Wow! That is a nifty invention. I get in tea moods now and then (usually it’s coffee) – that looks like it makes the process very easy.

Amazing the way nothing comes out the bottom until it’s on a cup/mug! I stopped drinking coffee many years ago, so this was a real find for me!!!
This IS a very cool invention!! I can imagine using it for all the herbal teas I drink. I’ve seen them in a commercial setting like David’s Tea but didn’t know you could get them for home use too.

Heather: Yes, it’s quite a neat invention. It’s a little cumbersome to clean, so I don’t use it all that often..only for “special” teas. Let me know if you do try it!
