Which posts, of the almost 100 for the year 2014, were the most popular? Which posts received the greatest number of hits?
Here’s a quick look at posts that were published during the year, 2014. I am very happy with my switch over to WordPress.org a year ago HOWEVER I do miss how Blogger automatically tracks hits for each post. WordPress requires a little more sleuth work to dig deep into your stats…but well worth the time!
It’s always interesting to see just what you all read, and re-read, and share. Many of my travel posts were popular, but this was the #1 hit:
These two tied for second place:
OUTDOOR SIDE TABLES and OUTDOOR DINING: THE MELAMINE TREND
These two posts make me think you all like to see a category of items, curated by me, with links for further information. More of this type of post will be coming your way.
And in third place:
CREATING A CONTAINER GARDEN FOR WINTER

As I just posted this one in November, it really deserves first place for receiving so many hits in such a short time!
If I go back through “all history” of the blog, then the popularity of certain posts changes. Month after month and year after year, one of my most viewed posts is
Lace Curtains: A Popular Post
It continues to amaze me just how many people look at that post! Who knew that lace curtains could draw such an audience.
Another very popular, all time favorite, is
Laundry Room: Part II
This doesn’t surprise me as much, as it has been featured on Hometalk and Houzz, so continues to draw hits from those sites. I’m beginning to think about some new ideas for that room, so will post them during the year.
More than anything, I want to thank each and every one of you for visiting, following, and commenting on this blog. While I love doing this, it is made even more satisfying knowing that there is such a large community out there!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE
I loved your Charleston post and as a North Carolinian, we visit there frequently. Happy new year, Libby!!

Looking forward, already, to warmer weather and visiting there again!
Oh Kris, how awful for your husband (and you..) but glad it wasn’t too serious. Aren’t you nice to help your friend paint! But I’m sure you’re glad to be home again. It’s going to be cold, cold, cold here later this week so I’m preparing! But we’ve planned a trip to Florida in February; not your direction, unfortunately, but down to Sarasota way. Looking forward to it already!
Happy New Year! I really like your curated design posts, too. I’m going to reread the Charleston one. I’m sure I read that, but now can’t remember.
