Framebridge
is an on-line service for custom picture framing.
They offer a choice of sending your image via email or Instagram, or actual mail delivery of an original. The frame selection is fairly limited but quite varied and definitely well curated. They have divided up the styles into “Classic, Clean and Eclectic.” And if you have trouble deciding, they also offer a “Designer’s Choice” where they will suggest three frame styles for you.
The sizes they offer are small, medium, large, extra large and then an Instagram-mini. Click here to see a visual diagram of the sizing.
They also have a choice, with each frame, of various mats or no mat.
I decided to try it out and frame one of my images. This is the packaging:
Shipping time for me was two days: it depends on where you live. The frames arrived in perfect condition and were very well packed and insulated. No breakage here.
Each frame comes with a personal, hand written note, a card, and care instructions in a muslin bag. You can’t ask for more!
This is the first framed image that arrived:
This image had been on my Instagram feed back in November: it was one of a series of these Liriope berries and was perfectly suited for framing…

This is the “Newport” frame with a white mat.
Next I tried two images directly from my Instagram account which Framebridge does as 5″ squares.

On the left is “Mercer” with white mat; on right is “Providence” with no mat.

And here are all three. It was SO difficult to photograph these with the reflective glass!
Let’s not forget the back:

Attention to detail makes the difference…
There was actually a problem with my first order: they shipped the wrong order to me! I called and emailed right away, received a response within twenty minutes, returned the package to them, and received my correct order within two days. Plus, I received a personal note AND my next order for free. Now, you just can’t beat that for customer service.
In the last month they have had another special offer and just today I saw their
Heartstagram special for Valentines.
This is a product and service I highly recommend and will most definitely use again. So go on over and take a look around and let us know what you order!
I’m glad to know about this service. Your pictures look very nice.

Hi Libby,
This looks like a great place, the prices are reasonable plus you can’t beat free shipping. I’ll have to bookmark this place. I have several photos that I took that would look great in their Seabrook distressed frames.
Thanks for the heads up!
