Recently I went on our local Garden Conservancy tour here in Raleigh.
Such gorgeous gardens!
One garden opened to the public for the day was that of Helen Yoest of
I follow Helen all around… meaning that I follow her on Facebook, her blog, and around the web. So it was a treat to meet Helen and to see “Helen’s Haven”, her garden in Raleigh, North Carolina.
As an extra added bonus, I came home with some of her Aster Tataricus cuttings.
I played around with filters in these images, and had fun with “curves” in Photoshop!
I planted my cutting along our white fence, facing West, where it will receive lots of sun. It should grow to about six feet by late next summer when I will photograph and show you again!
It’s been raining here (finally) so my garden is very happy!
