Remember my Friday Flowers posts? It suddenly occurred to me that it’s been a long….. time since I’ve posted these on a Friday. Yes, well, it was on October 27, 2011 in a post about tuberoses.
In honor of Friday Flowers I have this for you:
Are you familiar with Margaret Roach? Maybe you remember her from her days at Martha Stewart as Editorial Vice President. Or a stint at Newsday, or the New York Times. In early 2007 she left her “successful” career in New York and headed up to the country near Chatham, New York.
I love it and learn something new with each post.
is, in her words:
“a story about starting to realize a dream I’d had for decades but always been to afraid to try for–-to live in my rural garden fulltime, and return to the personal creativity that got lost in my executive years in publishing. It’s a book about letting nature be the guide, finally, and listening to its signals; about looking for (and finding) some peace.”
What do you think? Did you enjoy it?
