What do you think of when I say “tuberose”? Maybe something “old-fashioned”; perhaps a perfume your mother, or grandmother, wore. Classic, timeless, romantic?
I had never seen a tuberose flower until a few weeks ago when they were being sold at our local farmer’s market.
Oh, what a scent!
You have to smell it to believe it. Think gardenia but lighter….

I paired them with the lovely blue Mexican sage last week… but forgot to take a picture! Anyway, they are beautiful with almost any other flower. So keep them in mind!
