So, it’s been a year? No, not quite. This time I got a jump start by attending the first in their series of webinars!
The theme for 2012 is “Preservation”.
This includes:

tradition; embracing the past; lacework; taxidermy; handweaving; large gage knitting; houndstooth plaids; repurposing of objects; saturated hues; rich earth colors; camel color; bronze shimmer
#2: PROCESS
journey; nature inspires; graphic urban; site activated design; blocks; terrariums; hydroponics; crowd sourcing and labs; green on the rise; charcoal; concept + color; digital + organic
#3. PROTECTION
focus on the female body; padding; quilting; recycled; caging; spikes, nails, broken glass; bandaging; protective outside with feminine undertones; pearlized finishes; gold ascending; black is the new black; dulled pink and fuchsia
#4. ENLIGHTENMENT
“do you believe”; rebirth; future; the egg; orbs, rounds; prisms; mirrored images; light vs. dark; shadow art; luminous; oxidized; glowing
