Cindy, one of the managers there, chatted us up and when she realized we were in the process of moving, sent over this wonderful pecan pie for dessert. How did she ever know this is maybe my most favorite pie? (and I’m not a pie lover…)

And here….is a “Beltie” cow. Belted Galloway Cows “sole purpose is to greet village guests and coax a smile or two”. They are descended from a rare breed of Scottish beef cattle and are also know as “Oreo Cows”!

So, where am I? Right now, Sunday night, I am in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Tomorrow we close on our new house in Fearrington Village, Pittsboro, North Carolina.  We don’t actually move down for several months, but it’s an exciting time all right…I’ll be showing you so much more of our new house, and you can be sure there will be lots of ‘before and afters’ to tell about!
